Bills of Quantities
Blue Dot Quantity Surveying LTD are specialists in the production of bills of quantities for tendering contractors, developers, site teams and the PQS sector.
Our BQs are generally based on SMM7 (Standard Method of Measurement 7) and follow either standard BCIS elemental format, a provided contract sum analysis or trade packages.
BQs in the form of NRM2 (New Rules of Measurement 2), CESMM4 (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement) and MMHW (Method of Measurement for Highways Works) are also available.

As part of our cut and fill operations we are able to offer marked up drawings showing cut and fill colour maps, 3D views and site cross sections.

Cost Plans
Blue Dot Quantity Surveying Ltd produce cost plans to help clients establish budgets and job feasibility. These cost plans develop in detail and accuracy as more design information is made available. With any holes in the information provided filled in by our employees expert knowledge.
These cost plans range from elemental £/m2 estimates up to detailed builders quantities depending on the level of design information and in accordance with our clients requirements.

Blue Dot Quantity Surveying Ltd Established 2023
After obtaining a first class RICS accredited degree (BSc Quantity Surveying Hons) and 9+ years experience working for Glade Associates Quantity Surveying Ltd. Company founder Billy Gardiner decided to set up Blue Dot Quantity Surveying Ltd. With a unique skill set and specialist knowledge in ground works and cut and fills Billy intends to develop the company to suit his skills. The company will continue to work alongside Glade Associates Quantity Surveying Ltd sharing and building upon each others expert knowledge within the Quantity Surveying and bill production sector of the construction industry.
Billy has further goals to gain chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. To take on more employees. To offer the service of on site levels measurement and eventually the capacity to carry out lidar surveys from fixed wing aircraft.
